About:
Dr. Adkins attended UNC Chapel Hill for her undergraduate where she received a BA in biology and chemistry. She was a cheerleader for the Tar Heel football and basketball teams (including the 2017 national championship basketball team) so is, of course, a die-hard Tar Heel fan! Dr. Adkins went on to dental school at UNC-Chapel Hill and is currently doing an advanced education in general dentistry residency at UTHSC in Memphis, TN.
Dr. Adkins became a dentist because of personal experiences she had growing up. Her goal is to give people beautiful and healthy smiles to improve their quality of life and self-confidence. Her concentration in her current AEGD is on crown and bridge, implant restoration, and cosmetic dentistry.
In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, yoga, and hanging out with her fiancé Hunter Boone (who is in oral surgery residency at UC) and their Golden Retriever, Rosie. They love trying new restaurants and coffee shops in town as well as working on home projects at their new house in the Oakley neighborhood.
